Alex Rodriguez has maintained that he never took performance-enhancing drugs from Biogenesis of America or its disgraced founder, Anthony Bosch. According to a Miami Herald report, though, the Yankees third baseman told the Drug Enforcement Agency in January that he paid cash to Bosch for PEDs and received injections of human growth hormone. Rodriguez injected the HGH into his stomach, the 15-page DEA report said, according to the Herald. Rodriguez said Bosch told him the HGH would help with sleep, weight, hair growth, eyesight and muscle recovery. Bosch also apparently advised Rodriguez on how to beat baseballs mandated drug tests. The report specified that Bosch told Rodriguez to only use mid- stream urine for MLB drug testing, rather than the beginning or the end urine stream. Rodriguezs testimony to the DEA apparently granted him immunity from future prosecution and came just 18 days after a defiant denial in the wake of an arbiter reducing his initial 211-game ban for his involvement with Biogenesis. I have been clear that I did not use performance-enhancing substances ... and in order to prove it, I will take this fight to federal court, Rodriguez said back on Jan. 11, 2014. This bombshell report comes on the heels of another story in the New York Daily News that Rodriguez supposedly paid his cousin, Yuri Sucart, close to $1 million for his silence. The Miami Herald report states that Sucart, who is facing his own charges stemming from a federal investigation into Biogenesis, served as Rodriguezs steroid go-fer to Bosch. Rodriguez was just recently reinstated to the Yankees after sitting out the entire 2014 season for violations of baseballs drug agreement and labor contract. Adidas NMD Greece .
