Canadian forward Michael Petrasso has come to a three-year agreement with English Championship side Queens Park Rangers. The team announced the deal Tuesday on their official site. The 18-year-old Toronto native has been with the QPR organization since the 2012-13 season, making appearances on the teams under-18 and under-21 squads. He has split the 2013-14 campaign on a pair of loan spells in the English Championship, making 11 appearances with Oldham Athletic - including scoring one goal in two FA Cup appearances - and an additional seven with Coventry City. Petrasso has been involved with the Canadian national soccer program since 2010 and has represented Canada internationally at both the U17 and U20 levels. He has also spent time training with the Canadian senior mens team, though is yet to see game action. QPR currently sit third in the Championship standings, which would earn them a playoff berth and a one-in-four chance at promotion to the Barclays Premier League for the 2014-15 season.
