(NLL) - The Toronto Rock placed Bill Greer and Patrick Merrill on injured reserve Monday, following the opening weekend of the 2014 season. Both players have lower body injuries that will keep them out of the lineup until at least January 31, which is the first game they can be activated from IR. Taking their place on the active roster are rookie defenseman Mike Lum-Walker and rookie transition player AJ Masson. Both players began the season on the Rocks practice roster. Merrill failed to finish Thursday nights practice at Air Canada Centre and did not dress for Torontos home opener on Friday night.
