The Buffalo Sabres have said goodbye to Christian Ehrhoff. The team has bought out the remaining seven years of the German defenders contract, officially making him an unrestricted free agent. Ehrhoff scored six goals and added 27 assists in 79 games with the Sabres in 2013-14. The 31-year-old signed a 10-year deal with the Sabres prior to the 2011-12 season worth an average annual value of $4 million.
