Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is in fair condition at a Charlotte hospital after being involved in a two-car accident on Tuesday afternoon. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said Newton was transported in an ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The Panthers did not give details on the exact nature of Newtons injuries, but said he would remain at Carolinas Medical Center overnight for observation.
